Who We Are

Community Development Network (CDN) was founded in 2013 as a registered organization in Cameroonian organization and registered as 501c3 organization in the United States in 2017; with the aim of promoting rural development and supporting less privileged and marginalized communities in Cameroon and the United States.

What We Do

Facilitate access to basic education and training opportunities for children and youths as well as support with scholarships, supplies extra curricular activities.
Capacity building and access to entrepreneurship and career  training opportunities to help curb unemployment and facilitate access to jobs and generate income to support themselves and family.
Raise Awareness and Sensitization campaigns and workshops on primary healthcare, hygiene, immunization, vaccination and access to healthcare and medical supplies for better and healthy living.
Promote community engagement and a sense of responsibility for its people through programs and activities  that enhance community leadership and a strong sense of civic responsibility.
Organize and promote work and cultural exchanges between local and international volunteers to share experiences, skills, knowledge, culture and come together towards building better communities.
Promote food security in local communities in agricultural ventures and the use of new techniques in order to maximize yield in produce from farming and animal rearing.

Achem Nkongho Princewill
Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
Mr. Achem is a student researcher pursuing an advanced Master's in Development Evaluation and Research at the Institute for Development Policy and Management, Antwerp. He has experience in public administration, monitoring, evaluation, and research across the private and humanitarian sectors. Previously, he was a Project Assistant for the Integrated Social Assistance Program with Catholic Relief Services in Cameroon. He holds a Master's in International Relations, specializing in Cooperation, Humanitarian Action, and Sustainable Development from IRIC, Cameroon. His expertise includes International Relations, Financial and Human Resource Management, Logistics, Environmental Management, and Sustainable Development.
Wele Elangwe
Legal Consultant
Ms. Elangwe is a lawyer and human rights defender committed to protecting and promoting human rights. She is the Student Services Coordinator for the Graduate School at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) and has worked with the United Nations in Cameroon and Rwanda. She holds an LL.B. (Honors) from the University of Buea, a Maitrise en Droit from the University of Yaoundé II, and an LL.M. (Cum Laude) from Indiana University. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership at UMES, she has also provided pro bono immigration legal services through Catholic Charities in Indiana, Washington, D.C., and New Orleans.
Gervais Naa Domtche
Logistics and Operations Manager
Mr. Naa is the Operations and Logistics Manager at Afriland First Bank. He holds a degree in Management of IT Networks from La Salle International University, Tunisia, and studied Economics and Management at the University of Buea, Cameroon. With experience in IT companies locally and abroad, he is passionate about driving development in Cameroon.
Josephine Nubia Njieko
Health Specialist
Mrs. Josephine Njieko is a geriatric nurse with an LPN in Comprehensive Health Studies. She works at Second Family Inc., caring for special needs children. After losing her only daughter to ovarian cancer at 22, she dedicated herself to youth cancer advocacy with the Patcha Foundation.
